    1. this book is sooo fantasticthis bok is about a girl and her family move for there daughters dance school called NBS then something terrible happens to one of the members in her family then everything turns upside downI rate this book 10/10

    2. I really loved the Australian voices in this book. Brynna is 13 and is new to ballet however she is really good at it - so good that her ballet teacher suggests she move to Melbourne to try out for the Australian Ballet School. The book is about so much more than ballet - it's about friendships, isolation, bullying and the importance of family. It is also about determination to do well - in any sport - footy, basketball, working. I read it so I could convince my 13 year old daughter to read it, [...]

    3. This is a good read, nice storyline but not quite what I was expecting. It seems to lack something though I'm not sure what. It has all the twists and turns of life but doesn't really draw me completely into the story. Another thing I would like to add, how many potatoes can one person eat!? "I came home and peeled potatoes." "Mum wasn't back yet so I peeled the potatoes." "Orrin wasn't home yet, so I peeled the potatoes." They never even eat them!Mum says; at least you can tell she hasn't got a [...]

    4. This was a great book, easy to read. Brynna was dedicated to her passion of dancing and was self motivated to rehearse in order to achieve her dream. The family interaction was also interesting with 2 brothers quite different. one successful footballer and another that could not cope with city life - but did her give it enough time.To read of the mothers earlier lifetime passion and see her reignite her passion for basketball was also fun.To feel the family pain at the major workplace accident w [...]

    5. The book "One Perfect Pirouette" by Sherryl Clark is one of the best books that i have read. It is about romance, dance, love and humor. It is about a girl who auditions to go the biggest dance company in the world, meets love, dances her dreams away and the mystery with the other girls there. Overall, this book is a wonderful story about love and dance and is an amazing book to read.

    6. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! even though I don't do dance, it inspired me to try my best to make my dreams come true!!!!

    7. I feel bad rating this 3 stars, but I didn't realise how young Brynna was. I picked this up from the young adult section of the library, thinking she'd be about 15/16, but she is only 12, and the writing was very young. Definitely a good book for younger readers, but too young for me! However, an Australian book! Yay! I love reading books set in Australia, all the expressions and things you don't get anywhere else.

    8. I thought that One Perfect Pirouette is the best book I have ever read. It's about a girl called Brynna who loves to dance and she gets into the national ballet school. Her whole family moves to Melbourne but then her brother Tam gets extremely sick. Her mum can't afford to pay Brynna's dancing fees so she has to find a job. She earns money to dance at a studio behind her mums back. But then one of the girls in her dance class tells Brynna's mum that she's been dancing behind her back. This book [...]

    9. I did think this was a good story but did not really reflect the class hours that anyone striving for acceptance into an elite program would be doing - she was terribly shocked at having to take class three days a week but all serious Australian dancers her age are taking at least that! Other than that though I thoroughly enjoyed the story and how it showed the commitment and sacrifice of the whole family to support Brynna, and Brynna's willingness to put her family first when it came to the cru [...]

    10. One Perfect Pirouette By Sheryl Clark is a completely chock a block filled with ballet. Me, knowing a lot about ballet understood these terms and names for these dance steps. I think that if someone read this book, and does not do ballet, they would be confused. Mum and I thought it was a bit repetetive. I was so confused why Brynna didn't want her Mum to coach the netball team. Then maybe Jade would be a bit more friendly towards Brynna. I also think Stenphanie is jealous of Brynna.

    11. Excellent book to read thouroughly enjoyed but i felt it needed to be a few chapters longer i felt it just ended very suddenly and it didnt really tell us any more about her dad apart from the fact that he woke up from the comba and i wanted to know more about bryanna getting to the national accademy like how her first lesson was and did she make any friends??any how i still loved to read it so yeah i relly highly reccomend it!!

    12. This book involves a girl who is persistent to follow her dreams, and intrigues you into her emotional journey. The book, 'Perfect Pirouette', holds a passionate dance story that involves intense moments about her friends, life, family, and school. The author creates an effect that draws you into the story and attaches you to the powerful novel.

    13. I think that this was an excellent book and i didn't want to put it down. I didn't like how at the end it sort of just finishes without tell you wether her father got completely better or if stephanie got into the accadamey, overall i rate it a extreamly excellent book.

    14. This book was amazing! It felt so real and I just couldn't stop reading until I was finished. It has day to day problems, drama and a little adventure that Brynna has to finish, the book is awesome! If you want a really good book then this one is what you need to read.

    15. This book is really good for brynnie through some of the sameissues as people my age face. I found there was too much peeling

    16. probably for a younger audiance, which I didn't realise. Still good though! Sherryl Clark has a great way of story telling, the characters seem so real, so lifelike!
