    1. I love this book! Laughed out loud on page 1. The first paragraph may be the best book beginning I’ve ever read. Totally hooked me.We all can identify with the main characters, three women in their 70’s, on their own now. I admire how they approach life with love and sadness, gaiety, urgency, intelligence. Kotker’s characters wonder and worry about (but do not voice) all the things – both cosmic and quotidian – that so many of us wonder and worry about (but do not voice). Read this boo [...]

She's witnessed a few things in her lifetime and can extract the essence of an action succinctly and with humori.e. "On her seventieth, she quite the Unitarian Society dropped her subscription to The New York Times, and got a dog. Read "Goodnight, Ladies" for more of these gems. You will discover yourself, your friends and insights into the antics and the angst of aging.


    3. Pick this book up at a friend's houseabbed me right away identified with the people right away, even if wasn't my exact experience, but the feeling around the experience, memory, regret, nostalgia, etc was exactly mind. Thank you Zane.


    4. This book is as wonderful as all the other books of Ms KotkerShe captures the inner conflicts and struggles of women from youth to women in their 70's. This is done with humor and lightness of touch.I highly recommend this book
